We accept cash, bank transfers, and cheques. For larger projects, we offer flexible payment plans with an upfront deposit and balance on completion. Corporate clients can arrange credit terms subject to approval.
CCTV
For a typical home in Kandy, 4 to 8 cameras usually provide adequate coverage. The exact number depends on your property layout, the number of entry points, and the areas you want to monitor. We recommend a free site survey to determine the ideal setup.
Yes, all the systems we install come with free mobile apps that let you view live footage, play back recordings, and receive motion detection alerts on your smartphone from anywhere with an internet connection.
Storage duration depends on the number of cameras, resolution, and hard drive size. Typically, a 4-camera 2MP system with a 2TB hard drive stores around 15 days of continuous recording. We can design systems for up to 90 days or more based on your requirements.
Yes, all cameras we install feature infrared (IR) night vision that provides clear black-and-white footage in complete darkness. Premium models offer colour night vision using built-in LED spotlights. IR range varies from 20 to 80 metres depending on the camera model.
A residential installation with 4 to 8 cameras typically takes one day. Commercial projects with 16 to 32 cameras usually take 2 to 3 days. Larger projects are scheduled in phases to minimise disruption to your operations.
A DVR (Digital Video Recorder) works with analogue cameras using coaxial cable. An NVR (Network Video Recorder) works with IP cameras over network cable (Cat5e/Cat6). NVR systems generally offer higher resolution, easier expansion, and more features. We recommend NVR-based IP systems for new installations.
For smooth remote viewing of 4 cameras simultaneously, we recommend a minimum upload speed of 4 Mbps at your CCTV location. Most modern fibre and 4G connections in Kandy easily meet this requirement. We optimise stream settings during installation to work with your available bandwidth.
A basic 4-camera 2MP system with installation starts from around LKR 45,000 to LKR 65,000. A 4MP system ranges from LKR 65,000 to LKR 95,000. Prices include cameras, recorder, hard drive, cabling, connectors, and professional installation. We provide detailed quotations after a free site survey.
Yes, we regularly upgrade existing systems. Common upgrades include replacing old analogue cameras with HD or IP cameras, adding more cameras, upgrading to a larger hard drive for longer recording, and adding remote viewing capability to older systems.
Networking
Absolutely. We handle complete office network setups including structured cabling, Wi-Fi access points, switches, routers, firewall configuration, and VPN setup. We can work with your building contractor during construction for the most cost-effective installation.
Access Control
Yes, we specialise in integrated security solutions. Access control events can trigger CCTV cameras to save snapshots, and you can view access logs alongside camera footage in a single interface. We can retrofit access control into your existing CCTV setup.
Smart Home
Yes, the smart home systems we install are compatible with popular voice assistants including Amazon Alexa and Google Home. You can control lights, fans, air conditioning, and curtains with voice commands.
Cabling
Cat5e is the budget option and fine for basic needs; Cat6 is the sensible default for most modern offices; and Cat6a supports 10-gigabit speeds, worth it for server rooms and backbone runs but rarely necessary for individual desks. For most offices we run Cat6 to workstations and Cat6a only on the backbone.
We recommend two data points per desk — one for a computer and one spare for a phone, printer, or future need — rather than exactly one per person. Retrofitting a single missed point after the finishes are complete costs far more than including it upfront.
Cabling during construction, before walls close up, is significantly cheaper per point than retrofitting into a finished space, where cables must be routed around existing finishes. If you're planning a new fit-out, involve your cabling provider at the same stage as your electrician.
Yes. Every structured cabling installation includes termination, testing, and certification documentation. Untested cabling can look fine on day one and cause intermittent faults months later that are far more expensive to diagnose — so certification is standard, not an optional extra.
For a typical 20-person office in the Kandy area, professional structured cabling runs between LKR 150,000 and LKR 300,000 depending on cable type and layout complexity, including data points at each workstation, patch panels, a network cabinet, and testing certification. We provide a detailed quotation after a free site survey.
IT Support
Yes. Beyond the initial installation and warranty, we provide ongoing IT support and maintenance for CCTV, networks, and access control — either on a per-visit basis or through an Annual Maintenance Contract for scheduled upkeep and priority response.
Our AMCs include scheduled preventive visits, priority emergency support, firmware updates, camera cleaning, system health checks, and discounted replacement parts. Plans start from LKR 15,000 per year depending on system size.
In most cases, yes. We regularly take over the maintenance and support of existing CCTV, networking, and security systems originally fitted by other installers. A site survey lets us assess the current setup and confirm what we can support before you commit.
Customers with an active maintenance contract receive priority support, including 24/7 emergency assistance. For others, we schedule support visits during business hours — Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Both. Many issues — firmware updates, remote-viewing configuration, and system health checks — can be handled remotely, which is faster and often resolves the problem the same day. When hardware needs attention, we schedule an on-site visit.
WiFi
Network Solutions is the wired backbone — switches, cabling, VLANs, and firewalls. WiFi Solutions is the wireless coverage layer that sits on top: enterprise access points, roaming, and guest access designed for how many people connect at once. On a hotel or school we usually do both together, but many clients already have a network and just need the WiFi rebuilt so it holds up when the building is full.
Yes — that's the most common reason clients call us. A single consumer router can only handle so many devices before it slows down or drops connections. We survey your property, work out how many devices connect at peak, and place multiple enterprise access points so the load is shared and coverage stays strong in every room. We also set fair-usage limits so one heavy user can't slow everyone else down.
Yes. We configure a separate guest network — kept isolated from your staff and back-office systems on its own VLAN — with a captive-portal login page (a welcome/terms screen, or a password) before guests get online. It's ideal for hotels, guesthouses, and offices that want to offer WiFi without exposing their internal network.
It depends on the size, layout, and building materials — thick walls and multiple floors need more access points than an open-plan space of the same size — and on how many people connect at once. Rather than guess, we do a free coverage survey to map dead zones and peak device load, then quote the exact number of access points needed. Over-buying wastes money and under-buying leaves dead spots, so we size it to your real space.
Yes. We install weatherproof outdoor-rated access points for gardens, pool decks, courtyards, and open dining areas, which is a frequent request from hotels and event venues. Outdoor coverage needs cabling run to each access point and careful placement to handle range and weather, all of which we plan during the site survey.
